CENTRAL
The gauntlet that is the regular season for Central Region clubs makes predicting which teams will come out the other end on top just as difficult as surviving the grueling Central Region schedule. Salvo SC, which was heartbreakingly eliminated from the postseason in its final regular season game of 2024, starts out 2025 on top of the Central Region polls, but without its leading scorer the past two seasons. No. 2 FC Milwaukee Torrent could very well keep Slavo from the Central Region Playoffs for a second straight year. No. 3 Colorado Pride and No. 4 Utah Surf both have a lot of work in front of them if they hope to meet in the Mountain Conference final in July

EAST
Expect to see fireworks on and around the island of Manhattan this year, with the Metropolitan Conference featuring four teams in top ten—and three in the top five— entering the season. After finishing at No. 3 to end 2024, FC Dayon is once again the team to beat in the East, with Clarkstown Soccer Club, fresh off its WPSL Championships Semifinal appearance, and the newest member of the Metropolitan Conference, in the No. 2 spot. East Regional Finalist, Reading United A.C. rounds out the top five as it looks to pick up where it left off with last season’s late surge into the postseason.

SOUTH
With the addition of the new and improved Gulf Coast Conference and the return of two-time WPSL National Champion, Pensacola FC, expect to see some new names in the South Region SouthStar Systems South Region Power Rankings this season, along with some of last season’s top performers. Arlington Soccer Blue takes over the top spot, up one from last year’s final ranking, but will have some competition from 865 Alliance and DECATUR FC, both lying in wait in the No. 2 and No. 3 spots, while Jacksonville Armada FC and UFA Gunners round out the top five, all looking to lay claim to the South Region.
