Arlington Soccer Blue’s standout goalkeeper, Cara Martin, was named a NCAA Division I Preseason All-American by Soccer America.
Martin posted a 1.0 goal against average in WPSL The District Division play in 2025, earning unanimous All-The District Division and The District Division Goalkeeper of the Year honors.
Martin enters her senior year at Georgetown University off a stunning 2024 campaign, allowing only three goals in 21 appearances for the Hoyas, finishing 13-4-4 in 2024, falling to No. 5 University of Connecticut in the BIG EAST Championships Semifinals before falling to No. 3 University of Iowa in the second round of the NCAA Championships.

Martin earned BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year, All-BIG EAST First Team, ECAD Defensive Player of the Year, Second Team All-Region, and CSC Academic All-District honors in the 2024 collegiate season.
Martin and the Hoyas kicked off the 2025 season with a 2-2 draw versus Old Dominion. Martin made four saves and was credited with an assist.
The Hoyas begin BIG EAST Conference play September 7 versus the University of South Caolina.
