BEST OF THE WPSL - LAKE ERIE CONFERENCE

OKLAHOMA CITY (August 11, 2023) – In its final day of awards week, the Women’s Premier Soccer League released the 2023 Best of the WPSL All-Conference honor in the East Region. The accolades include Best XI, Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, and Franchise of the Year.

The Lake Erie Conference honored five players from Ambassadors Cleveland, four players from Cleveland Ambassadors, and two players from Beadling Soccer Club in its BEST XI All-Conference team. Players represented collegiate programs at universities including Youngstown State, Saint Louis University, the University of North Carolina, and Xavier University.

COACH OF THE YEAR:  Caleb Fortune, Ambassadors Cleveland

FRANCHISE OF THE YEAR:  Ambassadors Cleveland
