WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATIONS

OKLAHOMA CITY (March 4, 2024) – The Women’s Premier Soccer League celebrates Women’s History Month by unveiling WPSL PRO’s temporary branding and official league website - wpslpro.com. With the reveal, the league confirms this branding is temporary and its full, complete identity will be unveiled at the end of the year.

“This is a great moment for our league to finally share a visual representation of all the effort we are putting into the WPSL PRO project ahead of our target launch date,” Sean Jones, WPSL PRO president, said. “To be able to showcase this in celebration of Women’s History Month makes the moment that much more impactful on everything we’ve set out to accomplish here.”

As 2025 nears, WPSL PRO takes further strides in all its launch preparations and continues to complete U.S. Soccer’s sanctioning process. Most recently, WPSL PRO achieved the threshold for the minimum number of teams as a professional women’s third-division league.

LOI markets continue to be revealed with WPSL PRO’s most recent announcements coming in Georgia Impact, AC Houston Sur, and North Dakota Fusion FC.

WPSL PRO’s mission is to expand access to professional women’s soccer in communities around the United States and to develop new pathways for women and young girls to pursue careers in soccer, both on and off the field.
